Following the launch of its 5G services in Pune, Airtel has now launched its 5G Plus service in the cities of Jammu and Srinagar.
Airtel customers who already have data plans may have access to 5G speeds without having to switch to a more expensive package. In addition, there is no need to swap out the SIM card in order to access 5G. The currently available Airtel 4G SIM card has support for 5G.

Users of Airtel 5G Plus services in several parts of India have reported experiencing good download and upload speeds. The telecommunications company also claims that their 5G service is between 20 and 30 times faster than 4G.
